About Us

Jules at home was created in July 2012 when we renovated an old school uniform and drapers shop in the village of Roade. Both of our school uniforms were purchased from this drapers store over 40 years ago!

It was set up by Jules who had previously been a Manager in John Lewis for 20 years. As the business grew her husband (Ex  precision engineer) joined the business to expand the School wear and embroidery side, which now looks after 14 local Primary-secondary schools, plus creates bespoke work wear and team wear for local sports clubs and small businesses. 

In the 10 years we have been trading we have established ourselves with lots of luxury brands including the beautiful candles from St.Eval candle Co based in Cornwall, the family owned Beeswax based company Bskincare using natural ingredients also based in Cornwall. Branche D'Olive luxury brand as found in Raymond Blancs hotels and many luxury shops across the UK. The famous Italian brand Ortigia which offers luxury soaps and fragrances which can also be found in stores such as Selfriges and Liberty's.

Flowers and plants have grown into a busy section of the business delivering lovely fresh flowers around the local area. We supply and delivery trays of good quality plants and compost seasonally too

Where possible we have always tried to support small British companies and we try and source unusual gifts every season to keep our ranges as interesting as possible,
